I created this activity for my Economics classes after we studied two units: Gross Domestic Product (unemployment, inflation, business cycle) and Fiscal/Monetary Policy. This is a movie worksheet that depicts the life of a family in Ohio during the Great Depression. The concepts on the worksheet include: unemployment (how to calculate, good rate, etc.), expansionary fiscal/monetary policy actions (students just recall), and movie questions. This DOES NOT teach the concepts but just a fun way to review what we have previously studied. Please email me if you have any questions. Also, prior to doing this activity (as a review), I used the Great Depression lesson plans created by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis (you can find online on the website).
