Description

Let's practice culinary math in a fun and colorful way! Students will demonstrate practical kitchen / food math skills while getting into the Christmas spirit.

Objective: Practice the skills needed to convert, halve, and multiply a recipe by solving kitchen math problems.

Instructions: Solve the culinary math problems. Color them in using the chart provided.

This resource includes:

  • 2 Christmas Kitchen Measurement Equivalences worksheets
  • 2 Christmas Halving Recipes worksheets
  • 2 Christmas Multiplying Recipes worksheets
  • 6 total Christmas "color by number" worksheets

These worksheets are perfect for an extension activity in your Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS, FACS) class or math class.

You can also give these coloring pages to students who are exempt from finals when you don't want them to sit there on their phones the whole time.

I love these kinds of sheets. It is a great way for the students to practice their kitchen math skills in a visual way. It also has a level of stress relief since they are coloring. I find my students need stress relievers most during this unit.
