$7 Grades 4, 5

This 34-page package this package will give teacher and students a chance to introduce financial literacy , setting financial goals, financial awareness, budgets, decision making, supermarket math, money, taxes, etc.. It includes worksheets, charts, a test and an answer key. A blank chart is included so that you can create grade-appropriate word problems yourself. You can exclude any questions or worksheets that don’t fit your grade level.

It includes grocery math such as rounding off dollar amounts, one and multiple-step word problems, using coupons and discounts, converting percentages to decimal points, finding unit prices to determine the best buys, etc.

It gives students a chance to use and apply basic math skills to think critically in an effort to problem-solve. It's a great way to learn supermarket math!

There are problems to solve individually or in pairs or small groups. This could be an opportunity for students to collaborate to find solutions.

At the end of the package, there is a test and an answer key.

In an effort to foster inclusiveness, ethnically diverse names and foods are included to create a more accepting classroom environment.

The worksheets and test are printed in black and white for easier printing.
