PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This 10 page packet includes three separate science experiments that can be completed as one large science investigation or as individual lessons. Each science investigation requires students to use inquiry process skills such as hypothesizing, observing and making conclusions.
You will hear "Wow!" and "Come see this!" as your students work through these hands-on yet simple investigation. Each experiment includes two pages of worksheets for students to fill out as they complete the tasks as well as a one page Teaching Guide for helpful hints.

Your students will become kitchen scientists as they explore:
Dancing Raisins- density and buoyancy using raisins and soda
Floating M- properties of water with M&Ms
Hot Sauce and Abe Lincoln- chemical changes that occur with pennies and hot sauce

I used the packet over the course of three days during science class. You will need some additional materials such as soda, raisins, M&Ms, cups and water.
