/r/: 2 initial, 2 medial
Vocalic /ear/: 2 sheets
Vocalic /ire/: 2 sheets
Vocalic /air/: 2 sheets
Vocalic /ar/: 2 sheets

Vocalic /er/: 2 sheets
Mixed Vocalic /r/: 2 sheets
Mixed /r/: 2 sheets
This packet includes two levels of difficulty for each sound. Level 1 sheets have predominantly mono- and bisyllabic words with simple word shapes, and the words were selected because the other consonants tend to be early developing. Level 2 sheets have target words with a greater variety of word shapes, word lengths and phoneme composition. (The evidence basis for this division of target words is included in the preview and in the download.) Great for group sessions!
These sheets can be used for word, phrase and sentence level practice. Clients can either read out/imitate one word at a time or several target words in a row, say their word in a carrier phrase (e.g. “I pick ____”), or make up a sentence using their chosen word(s).
How to Play
1. Select a worksheet based on your client’s current articulation goal.
2. Have the client select a word or a whole block to say.
3. After a successful production, give your client a block to add to their tower. (For younger clients, I prefer to use Lego™ or Bristol Blocks© because they are harder to accidently knock over. With older students, any blocks will do).
4. Once the tower is complete, knock it down using balls or ball poppers! Clients have to say a target word before each shot!
