• The board has the option of starting with a 0 or 1.
• Simply start the Powerpoint and select your starting number.
• Click on the numbers to highlight. Click again to hide a number.
• Or choose to hide groups of numbers.
• There is an additional feature of being able to hide numbers.
• Hide individual numbers by clicking twice on the number.
• Or hide the entire board or sets of numbers by clicking the HIDE menu buttons.

• Pretty much anything you can do with a physical number board – except rearrange or take the numbers off.
• Explore counting, number sequences and patterns, before and after, odd and even, prime and composite….

What message did Pirate Pete send in his bottle? Find out by circling the even/odd number from each pair of bottles. Under each number you circled is a letter. Write those letters in order in the message box to see what he wrote.

Determine the biggest number from a selection.

Number line activity
• sequencing number by filling in the missing numbers.

2 Sets. Each set:
• ascending order x 2 sheets

• Students cut and paste the numbers onto the treasure maps in ascending or descending order. Ordered numbers spell out where the pirate’s gold is buried.
• Organised into 2 sets. Solution is the same for each set but Set 1 has numbers to 50 whereas Set 2 has numbers to 120.
• Designed to cater for different student abilities.

��� These can be used for a variety of number activities.
• In my classroom I have used tissue boxes as treasure chests. Students had to perform a variety of tasks including sorting the coins into odd and even and placing them in the correct treasure chests. These cards were also used in place value activities, sequencing and ascending and descending order. Use them in conjunction with the number board. Shuffle and pick a number – find it from the hidden numbers on the board.
• Black and white version of the gold coins supplied.
• Blank version of the gold coins supplied.

Bingo!
• 2 levels of bingo.
• Set 1: 8 numbers per bingo sheet. 24 bingo sheets.
• Set 2: 15 numbers per bingo sheet. 12 bingo sheets.
• These can be used in conjunction with the gold coin number cards or any other number cards you have already available. Or simply call a number.
