Vegetables are a fun way to reinforce the parts of the plant and the plant cycle.
This resource presents a game in which students and invited to guess whether the vegetable displayed is derived from the root, stem, leaves, flower or the fruit/seeds of a plant.
The first click reveals the answer choices: root, stem, leaves, flower, fruit/seeds. Can you guess?
A second click reveals a visual hint … the vegetable as it appears in the garden. Can you guess now?
A third click reveals the correct answer as text (e.g. stem), speech (‘stem’) and check in the correct answer box.
This resource can be flexibly displayed on the interactive whiteboard or a large screen TV using Apple TV. It also displays beautifully on an iPad /Android tablet using the free Microsoft PowerPoint App.
