This is a great multisensory bundle of lessons based on the principles of Orton Gillingham! Students have numerous opportunities to practice each vowel sound. This multisensory packet includes lesson, and additional word lists, word phrases to help each student with ample multisensory opportunities. The visuals are enticing for younger age levels, yet the pictures are appropriate for young adults and adults working to develop their reading skills.
Additional information is included to support teachers and parents who may not feel confident presenting the lessons to students. A resource that provides basic information to present terminology is included.
The bundle is set up with the short vowels in alphabetical order - a, e, i, o, u. At the end of the packet, there are additional pages of one-syllable word review for each specific short vowel. As the students progress to the next short vowel, there are additional mixed review practice word lists and word phrases for student to develop reading fluency.
This is a comprehensive multisensory bundle of lessons - and it is my hope that your students will develop stronger decoding skills. This packet has been used in my private practice, and my students really like it because each lesson is created with "mindset" that students of all ages need short vowel support - so effort has gone into making this packet/bundle to appear age appropriate where possible!
