Know the Code: Word Pattern V/V
Product Description
Thank you for previewing this multisensory lesson with student activity that can used over and over to support student memory for eventual automatic understanding of the concept V / V . These multisensory lessons are based on the principles and research of The Orton Gillingham approach, a multisensory, explicit, sequential, and cumulative approach, which incorporates over-learning and a continual review of presented skills.

There is a page at the very beginning for teachers and other adults working with students to support a multisensory development of the concept. If a goal is to help students become stronger readers with strong decoding skills, this is a “MUST lesson.” If your student struggles to decode words like poem, triad, violet, to name a few, this lesson will increase their knowledge base. However, the key is the practice time needed to become a stronger decoder.
There are many activities that can be used in a class setting, independently, small group, or whole class.

Well, the game activity, V / V Concentration, is a great learning tool to support students learning that after initial presentation, and discussion of the game rules, with less teacher directed time.
