Fun science experiment in which students mix different Kool-Aid flavors to compare colors and tastes. Students use beakers, test tubes, and pipettes to experiment and combine to create new mixes. Students also use the mathematical concept of combinations when creating all possible combinations of Kool-Aid mixes. Elementary level science experiment, ideal for 1st grade (with adult help), 2nd grade, or 3rd grades.
Teachers must provide supplies, as well as mix Kool-aid packs with recommended amounts of sugar, in order for students to have powder ready to mix with water in experiment.
