Two worksheets that align with L.2.2b and L.2.3a/Review for L.3.2.b
Worksheet 1: A letter a son wrote to his mom. Letter is missing greeting and ending salutation commas. There are words within the letter that need an apostrophe to show possessive form or to show each is a contraction. Students rewrite the letter and make those changes/additions.
Worksheet 2: There are seven sentences with a word or short phrase underlined: His brother is cool. ["cool" would be underlined]Students rewrite the sentence, revising the underlined informal word with one that is more formal English. The first one is done for the student.
Both sheet have an Extra Time activity at the end of the page.
