The L3 program (Language, Learning and Literacy) encourages students to write independently using a variety of useful strategies including:
1. Use the word wall
2. Use the butterfly card
3. Stretch out the sounds in words
4. Clap the parts in words
5. Think about how the words look like
All of these strategies are to be used by Kindergarten students in order to write independently.
This resource was designed for students in Kindergarten who are struggling to write independently. This resource can be used as a whole class achor chart (either A4 or A3) and can also be used as a desk visual reminder for students who are experiencing difficulty writing independently (A5 or A6 size).
