This product aligns with L.3.4.b Determine the meaning of the new word when a known affix is added to a known word.
There are four worksheets. All of the responses are multiple-choice.
Page 1 and Page 2: Prefixes have been added to a known word. Students read the sentence and look at the underlined word. They choose the response that is closest to the underlined word's meaning.
There are 4 sentences, and these pages have an Extra Time activity for early finishers.
Page 3: Suffixes have been added to a known word. Same directions. There are 5 sentences on this sheet.
Page 4: This is a mix of prefix and suffix, the same as above. There are 5 sentences on this sheet.
The last page is the answer key.
