This is a two-part mini-assessment for L.3.4b that asks students to work with affixes in Parts A and B. For the first table, students are given a common affix and write the meaning of each. In Part B, students identify the affix in context and write the meaning of the whole word.
This mini-assessment is an easy one to grade and a perfect tool to assess your student's knowledge before beginning instruction or as a summative after you've taught this skill. It could also be done as a center or small group activity.
