This product is mainly designed for centers or small group work when you feel your students need a little extra work with homophones. The product contains a total of 15 pages, with 12 pages being activity pages/task cards. You could choose to laminate them and use them as a task card in learning centers, or have students use pencils to complete them.
Each activity page of the product has one QR code that links to a Youtube video that explains the difference between the homophones discussed. The videos are short and animated, with each being around one minute. Next, there are five questions that ask the student to use the words in context. There is also a QR code that links to a text answer key. Students can then record the number of questions that they answered correctly.
I included some common homophones that students often get confused. I also included some higher level homophones to help you catch the interest of higher students.
Please be sure you have a device that can scan a QR code prior to purchase. You can print the preview to try out scanning the codes, or you can often scan them right from your computer screen. For your convenience, I have included links for the three videos that go with the preview activities.
