Three worksheets to directly align with CCSS.ELA-Literacy.L.4.1.b
Form and use the progressive (e.g., I was walking; I am walking; I will be walking) verb tenses.
Worksheet 1: 10 sentences, change the verb so that it fits the tense requested: I (walk) to school if our car doesn't start (future progressive). This worksheet has a table at the top with examples of present, past, future: simple, progressive, perfect verb tenses.
Worksheet 2: The same as #1, above WITHOUT the table.
Worksheet 3: Students will write paragraphs according to requested directives: Imagine you _____. Use the [verb tense] least three times in the paragraph.
ANSWERS ARE INCLUDED as page 4.
