This quick assessment tests your students' knowledge of comma usage to set of yes and no, tag questions, and direct address. Students will correct sentences and decide whether or not sentences are correctly punctuated. This assessment is aligned with CCSS L.5.2.c and there is an answer key for your convenience. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. :)
Standards Addressed: CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.L.5.2.C
Use a comma to set off the words yes and no (e.g., Yes, thank you), to set off a tag question from the rest of the sentence (e.g., It's true, isn't it?), and to indicate direct address (e.g., Is that you, Steve?).
This pairs nicely with my L.5.2.C - Using Commas Task Cards, which can be found by clicking HERE
