This ELA product aligns with L.6.4.c and contains 2 worksheets.
Each sheet is two pages, and has 5 examples for students to work through. Great for assessment, morning work, remediation, and many other classroom uses.
Directions for both sheets: Read each short paragraph, then the two sentences. Decide which sentence uses the underlined word correctly. Then, on the line below the sentences, explain why your choice is correct and the other is incorrect. (Use a print or online dictionary to find the words’ meanings and parts of speech.)
Sample from one of the sheets:
1. The Great Pacific Bank branch in our city closed last week. It turned out that the branch manager had been somehow moving money to his own private account. It’s shocking, but two bank tellers were also involved. The authorities are keeping the branch closed until they figure out exactly what went on.
