This the PowerPoint for the laboratory exercise Blizzard of 1993
which can be found in my store. In this lab students plot the location of the low pressure center over the course of the blizzard and they draw snowfall isolines on a map of the eastern United States. Students will make predictions as to where the most snow fell and analyze these predictions afterward. This is a great activity for Earth Science Regents students to refresh mapping skills, as well as put weather forecasting into context.
