### Description

Dear teachers,

Please enjoy this ccss aligned Least Common Multiple and Greatest Common Factor activity. I found that my students had a really hard time understanding the difference between the two and need a little more practice with the definitions of the vocabulary from the unit as well as just practicing looking at answers and deciding if the answer is representative of multiples or factors. While this is just a start to determining reasonableness in their answers it is a start. .

Use the distributive property to express a sum of two whole numbers 1–100 with a common factor as a multiple of a sum of two whole numbers with no common factor. For example, express 36 + 8 as 4 (9 + 2).
