This is a Super Cute packet containing 6 Leprechaun Themed Number Games. These games are all great to use in math centers.
The games included are
"Leprechaun Spinner Game" Partners will each choose one number card and place it on the mat. Then the first child will spin the game spinner. If it lands on Big/More the child with the highest number gets to keep both cards. If it lands on Small/Less the child with the smaller number gets to keep both cards. The child with the most cards wins! (I have provided the base for the spinner, you will need to make your own "arrow." One way to do so is to use a paperclip and a brad. Blank spinners can be purchased online)
"Where is the Pot of Gold" where one partner will hide the "pot of gold" under a number card (either numeral, number word, or objects). The second child will guess which card the "pot of gold" is under by reading the number on the card.
"Number Memory Match" This is your basic memory game. Place the numeral cards and number word cards (or picture cards) upside down on a table. Children will take turns flipping over 2 cards at a time. If they match, the child will keep the cards. If they do not match, the child will turn them back over and try again.
"Shamrock Number Matching" Place numeral cards, picture cards, and number word cards in a pocket chart. Have the children match up the numerals to words and pictures.
"Small, Big, Biggest"
Children will place cards in order according to which is smallest and biggest.
"What Comes Next?"
Children will choose a card at random, then write the number that comes before and after.
These games are aligned with Common Core Standards for Kindergarten:
K.CC.5, K.CC.7, and K.MD.2
