LIGHT ENERGY Reading Passages
Students will explain that light travels in a straight line until it strikes an object (opaque, translucent, transparent), then it absorbs, refracts, or reflects.
The file includes one passage written on three levels. Passages are marked H, M, L (high, medium, low) in small print on the bottom of the page.
As all students are tested on the same benchmarks, the passages are differentiated -not the assessment.
Passages are written in full page format with large font for annotating text in centers or guided reading.
If you prefer to use the passages in the interactive science notebooks, a half page format is also included.
Answer key is included.
