LINEAR FUNCTIONS - Game of Spoons
Great for review of Linear Functions.
Played like the game of “Spoons,” this small group activity gives students an opportunity to review Linear Functions. They won’t even realize they are learning!
This set of cards includes 68 cards, 17 sets of four different cards that match a graph, the slope-intercept form of its equation, the standard equation and the slope. The goal is to get a complete set of 4 cards.
The equations are not difficult, it would be too hard to play the game if they were. But they give practice with identifying characteristics of the functions quickly and fluently.
Also included are more ideas for how to use these cards.
