In the original 5 second game you have only five seconds to answer all three of the items requested. In this classroom version it is a little tougher. It should be a piece of cake to name these (163+) Louisiana items - but can you do it under press of your classmates and before the timer runs out? Time is not on your side, and classmates have their own answers, so just say the most hysterical thing that comes to mind as times runs out. You MIGHT get it right. It’s all in good fun and this fast paced game where you have to “Just Spit It Out”. This game lets you add questions as needed after the first 162+ question cards. Print the cards out on cardstock and laminate them if possible. Use a power-point timer to keep everyone equal. Once time is up the card is passed to the next student and they can no longer use the names you just gave, they have to come up with another combination of names.
If for example, the "Hot Seat" person couldn't answer the question, it gets passed to the next player. IF they can get all 3 answers (new player can't use any previously mentioned answers-GULP!) then they earn the point. IF they don't you keep passing it, trying it until it gets back to the original player. If no one got it answered then the original person gets a point by default.
Classmate with the most cards at the end of class time is the winner.
Points are counted one point for each card you answer correctly under the 5 seconds.
Email me and I will send you an editable .doc form/copy for your own use and questions you may want to add.
At the end of the year my students loved this game and want to play it day in and day out!
