Product Description
I have told my students that Louisiana has made so many historical landmark moments, well before anyone else did but most people just do not know our own history.

This is the story of the Bus boycott well before the others that get all the attention. Our students need to know what went on and why. They need to know about General P.G.T. Beauregard and his part in the Civil War, William Sherman and his role with LSU, Ruby Bridges and her role in the Civil Rights movement, the impact Hurricane Audrey had on SW La long before Hurricane Rita hit, how the term Dixie came from our own 10 dollar French notes, the rebel battle flag came from us during the Civil War, and General Clair Chennault played even before WWII started.

Louisiana has so much history, food, music etc.
