This will get student's interest up as they get up in class and really start discussing the material covered, I always knew my students were more energetic and when I gave them this assignment I seemed to get better answers plus it helped them better on tests,
This assignment fits almost every chapter and you can use it over and over again and get different answers each year/ week/ chapter/ even every hour.
There are 20 questions to be answered. Students have a few minutes to walk around the classroom to find someone who knows ONE of these topics. Poll their classmates about what they know on these topics covered. If they find a classmate that knows an answer, jot it down their answer on the back of the attached sheet and have them sign the box with the question. No one can answer more than one question and no one can sign more than one box. When time is up we will discuss the answers.
-Name the major historical figure this chapter deals with?
