Say Anything is a light-hearted game about what you and your friends think. It gives you the chance to settle questions that have been hotly debated for centuries and still may be. For instance, "What is the most overrated governor of all time?" or "Which Louisiana celebrity would be the most fun to hang out with for a day?" So dig deep into your heart or just come up with something witty - this is your chance to Say Anything!
How to Play
1) Ask a question from the card you draw. For example:
- If you could have a "BIG" anything, what would it be?
- What's the most important Louisiana invention of the last century?
- Which Louisiana website would be hardest to live without?
- What's the best activity for a festival date?
- What's the worst thing to say to a trooper after getting pulled over?
Say Anything is a game similar to Apple to Apples but instead of choosing from a select number of choices for your answers, you can literally say anything. How many times did you wish you had a specific card that would definitely score you a point? Now you can just write down your answer any time you'd like.
The interesting aspect of the game Say Anything is you can win points by being serious, funny or playing to what you think each person will pick. It is a lot of fun seeing the different and creative answers that people come up with. The best thing about Say Anything is you can quickly explain the game rules in about 5 minutes and almost all middle school students can play.
Be the player with the most points after 12 rounds and you'll be pronounced the winner.
You'll get 51 cards with 147 questions, 1 blank set of cards for your own questions, 1 select-o-matic, 16 player tokens, a Judge's score board, team scorecard, and the official Say Anything game rules and instructions. On the Answer sheets, just run off enough for the students you have.
