This is enough warm ups to last weekly for 20 weeks and a blank sheet to add what you are currently teaching.
Most of the early items are very general items that most students should know if without studying history yet. As the weeks go on the questions get harder and harder.
I have used these in different ways from year to year.
Start by making copies for each student and pass out one sheet each week as the year goes on.
Pass out on Monday, collect on Friday, grade each week. I generally make grading easy with them being for extra credit – a point for a daily right answer – which adds up to help my student grade over the 6-9 weeks.
I generally give students two-five minutes to answer each question – less time if they get too noisy. Many students will answers all the questions on Monday so they don't have to do them each day but generally try to stop them from doing that, they can "research" the answers if they need to ahead of time but writing them is a "no-no".
Since I don't know what you are studying or how fast you are covering material, or interruptions you may have, I only covered material I covered in class. You are on your own for anything extra that may come up. Enjoy the school year.
