Photographic memory matching game: Boudin goes with Boudin, Shrimp goes with Shrimp.... I win! Help your students build Louisiana memory skills in a fun, innovative way by matching colorful, realistic photographs of familiar and fun foods. No reading is required, but cards include the name of the picture to promote early Louisiana site reading. Use this card set to play any game that requires matched pairs. This is a great new photographic twist on a time-honored game.
First thing I did, and you should do, is I printed these on card stock, multiple times, then printed them all with the backside, and then laminated them so that I could use them from class to class to class. Then I cut them all out and put each set in zip-lock baggies. I made each bag a mixture of about 12 matching pieces so that the game would move along at a easy pace. My middle school students loved the game so much that we use it in any "down time" we have before holidays, assemblies, etc. These cards are great and I NEVER thought my middle school students world like it but they really have. I hope yours do also.
