Product Description
During our time studying the Louisiana Constitution, I had my students analyze the preamble from the current (1974) constitution.

The constitution provides the structure and principles in which the government operates, including - but not limited to - the preamble, declaration of rights, distribution of powers, revenue and finance, elections, and constitutional revision.

As 7th graders they had to learn the U. S. preamble and in 8th grade I made them learn the Louisiana preamble (86 words).
