No matter where I turn, what I read, look at, or see, something comes to mind that I can use in class to get across that we are covering in Louisiana history - from the earliest Era to the most modern time.
This is just one of those items I took from somewhere and ran with it. It make my students happy because they don't have to "do things the way the rest of the school does" yet they learn the material. I created this "new" item for a chapter we are covering. I redid it, tweaked it, and made it mine for use for ANY section/chapter I ANY historical time period.
I just tend to "string" many mini-lessons together to teach the stories of our state history.
