First, let me say that this is the second LaUNO card set that I created, and my students love playing it and want to play it every day, but I have to say "NO". They tend to get so wrapped up in this game. I have even had my principal and assistant principals come in a play. My students love 'beating them'.
To make this game playable for years you will need to spend some time 'up front' to make the good times on the end last forever. My own cards have lasted for over five years and my original set has lasted more than fifteen years. You need to spend time printing them out IN COLOR then LAMINATING them then CUTTING them out and finally putting them in 'ziplock' bags or mini storage containers like I did.
I store mine in containers for year after year play/educational times. I pull them out whenever I need a filler activity whenever the need arises which some years has been often and some years not so much. But laminating them first saved having to print and reprint them.
This set includes 'Food' which allows students to name a Louisiana food or dishes that starts with the letter on the card. It also make every play a different game.
Just beware, this game can get a little noisy.
