Need to get students thinking about Spanish food vocabulary?
This survey/structured speaking activity is a great way to get students to apply Spanish food vocabulary to themselves!
The survey uses frequency words (siempre, a veces, nunca, etc.), which are listed at the top of the student handout as a reminder to students who may not yet know/remember them all. These words are placed in a survey chart along with various foods. Students mark the frequency that they eat each of the foods in the survey chart.
When students finish filling in the survey with their personal answers, they create questions about the foods listed in the survey (using the verb comer) and pair with a partner. Students interview each other about what foods they eat, and record their partner's answers.
Included in this download is a two page student handout and a teacher guide for how to conduct this activity!
