In this packet you will find several activities that will help your students practice all the target vocabulary related to family in Spanish. Besides, your students will improve their reading and writing skills with a wide variety of exercises: reading a text about a family, drawing a family tree, describing their own family, interpreting a family tree etc
Finally, all the families included in the packet are relevant in the Spanish speaking world, so that will give your students a chance to learn more about Hispanic culture (Royal family of Spain, Gabriel Garcia Marquez´s family of A hundred years of solitude, the Alcántaras from the Spanish show Cuéntame...)
The packet includes:
- A reading comprehension text to guide your students in drawing a family tree for Spain's Royal family.
-A reading comprehension text about Cuéntame, Spain's longest show. Students need to identify characters in a family picture and answer some questions.
-"A hundred year's of solitude" family tree. Students should interpret it and answer some questions. Finally they need to investigate about the novel and its author, G. Garcia Marquez.
-An exercise where students draw their own family tree and explain it writing a brief text.
-A newspaper article: students will read an authentic and not adapted resource about the Kardashian family. They need to write a brief text explaining who they are.
As usual, this is a no stress packet: print and go!
