This is a worksheet that accompanies a video found on YouTube. The worksheet follows the order of the video. The video is only about 4 minutes in length. I usually play the video 2 times and tell the students to do their best to get everything filled in the first time. Then the second time they view it, they only have to check to see if they have the correct information and maybe fill in a few missing pieces of information.
There is also a vocabulary section/page in this download. The students first write the Engish for the given Spanish and then the Spanish for the given English. Sometimes I have the students do this in partners, I copy the vocabulary single sided, one of the partners receives the English words, the other receives the Spanish words. I ask them to quiz each other for about 5 minutes, asking the question "Como se dice... or Que significa..." After about 5 minutes, I ask them to share their vocabulary with each other, so they both have a complete set of words in Spanish & English.
I prefer to do the vocabulary before the video, but sometimes viewing the video first helps the students with pronunciation when they are completing the vocabulary activity.
