Handout is for the Mexican legend, La Llorona (it's in a PDF format). La Llorona is a classic and there are many versions online for the legend. What I find fascinating is that the legend exists in many Latino countries although it originated in Mexico. It's also a popular legend in the United States. Several horror movies have been made in English for the "Weeping Woman". Even the TV show "Grimm" had an episode for "La Llorona".
Handout contains 15 sentences for students to place in order. Great closing activity. I usually have students work in pairs. Key is provided.
