☆La Media Naranja Game for Spanish Class Adjectives, Nouns and Verbs!☆
My students really enjoy another "fruit-based" game, but it was way too difficult for them to play it in Spanish. This led me to create "La Media Naranja." In this fun small-group game, students try to find the best match among their hand of "things" to match up with their teammate's adjective. Because it is completely subjective, if you select someone's card, they have a special connection with you and they must say "Eres mi media naranja!" If you want your students to also practice adjective agreement, you may ask them to name all of the options using correct agreement before announcing their final selection. A list of common phrases needed for game-play are included to help your students stay in Spanish during the game! This game is recommended for Spanish 2 and up, although motivated Spanish 1 students would also be able to enjoy it.
