This is a 'Student Favorite'
Loving the game Cranium, I modified a version for the Spanish Classroom to use as a review. Students really enjoy this game. This particular review covers clothing vocabulary in Spanish. The translation category includes 'Cuanto cuesta', llevar and quedarse. The pdf includes complete instructions for play. You will need the following to play:
(1 per group) (No dice? You can print out number cards for this product.)
-Clay or play dough
(1 container per group) (No clay? Simply swap a category.)
for taking score (a paper tally is also fine)
-One dry erase board and marker
per group (paper may be substituted)
-One set of game cutouts
-Timer (optional - I don't find one necessary.)
-Basically as long as you have the game cutouts from the pdf, everything else can be improvised if necessary.
The Categories Include:
-Sculpting with Clay
-10 second challenge
This review is great for before a quiz, a beginning or year end review, or a quick sub plan
because all of the answers are on the gamecards. As long as the students have played the game before, and the basic instructions are listed on the board, they play quite independently and really enjoy themselves. They light up when they see the Cranium materials out for the day!
I have Cranium games for Realidades I and II, Avancemos I, as well as other general topics. You can check the link below:
