In my classroom I use poker chips to encourage students to speak in Spanish. In one trimester, students must earn 60 poker chips = 60 points. Any time they speak in Spanish, they earn a poker chip. This shows them that learning a language is not a passive process - you must be an active participant.
I created this PowerPoint to practice clothing vocab, specifically from the Santillana textbook.
There are 47 slides with graphics of clothing with different colors and patterns. The first half requires that students simply describe the clothing. The second half uses equal and unequal comparisons between 2 items.
There are also 2 activities using QR codes as an opener or as an exit slip. Great for a classroom with iPads.
