Handout has 55 fill in the blanks for the Preterit or Imperfect for a popular legend of Peru. This legend is part of my Peru unit. As students read together with the class, students discuss whether to use the Preterit or Imperfect. Great way to review gramamr while reading authentic literature from Latin America. Answer key is included.
As a supplemental activity I have students work on a story board for the legend in which they select six scenes and write a brief summary for each scene:
