Handout id the the vignette "Alicia que ve ratones". Part 1 is fill in the blanks with the present tense and Part 2 contains five reading comprehension questions. I usually follow the activity with a writing prompt in which students have to write a composition about the benefits of an education.
This is another vignette that provides a teachable moment about the importance of education. The other vignette is "Bien aguila". In this vignette Alicia studies all night (when the mice are running around) because she knows that an education will be her ticket out of the neighborhood.
