With carefully selected pictures and engaging activities and games, students learn the following vocabulary and language chunks: mama, papa, hermano, hermana, abuelo, abuela, tio, tia, perro, gato, tengo, no tengo, hay, se llama. It includes a video, a listening assessment, a suggestion for a presentational speaking assessment and a page with more games suggestions, as well as a cultural connection to families in Spain. The pages follow a logical teaching pace, which will lead you through the unit. It is aligned to the new FL standards, at the novice mid level. A great resource for a FLES program.
