Cochino is a game I use often in my classes to practice vocabulary. This version includes family vocabulary and adjectives found in chapter 5 (a combination of 5A and 5B) of Realidades.
To play, put students in groups of 2 or 3, each with a different color marker. Say the vocabulary word in English and the first student to find and highlight it wins that point. Besides simply saying the word in English, you can switch it up by using it in a sentence (like fill in the blank) or describing the word. With verbs, it also works well to act them out, given the students know the subject they are looking for.
If you enjoy it, check out the other versions available. I have created several that coincide with vocabulary from the units in the Realidades textbook series.
