Most beginners are worried about mispronouncing words in Spanish. Make them feel confident about Spanish pronunciation using this resource! Your students will learn the alphabet and the pronunciation of each vowel and consonant. Spanish cognates and phrases are provided as examples to practice reading them. Contents
- The first slides have one vowel each and three words to pronounce those vowels. The words have the English translation on the side.
- On slide seven, students have the complete alphabet to see which letters are different in Spanish, such as ñ, and they can learn to spell their name.
- On the next few slides you will find the consonants C, Q, G, J, H, Ñ, LL, Y, R, RR, C, S and Z with their different sounds and words to read. These words do not include a translation; teachers can ask students if they already know any of these words.
- Also included are slides with sentences that combine all the sounds. For example: after seeing the sounds of the letters C and Q, the student will read the sentence "Quiero comer queso", among others.
- Then, the student must read a series of words with diphthong.
- To finish, there's a video to listen to different Latin American accents.
