Lab - Titrations, Strong acid strong base titration
This lab will help your students successfully perform a titration. Students are instructed on the proper methods for cleaning the burettes, performing the titration, and completing the calculations if the unknown acid concentration. Setup is very easy with my teacher prep guide - see the product preview for details.
Learning objectives: Your students will be able to…
•Perform a titration.
•Properly read measurements off of burettes.
•Calculate the unknown concentration of an acid.
Materials your students will need:
•0.10 M NaOH standard solution
•unknown HCl solution
•50 mL burette
•125 mL Erlenmeyer flask
•(2) 100-150 mL beakers
This lab activity includes:
•3-Page lab activity
•Organized data tables
•Teacher’s prep guide
•Calculations answer key
