Product Description
Lab activity to do when teaching density. Students calculate the densities of three liquids then predict how they will layer in a beaker. Students then mix the liquids in a beaker to see if their prediction is correct. Liquids used are water, dark corn syrup (better visual) and vegetable oil. Really illustrates how liquids layer based on their individual densities. Good math component as students calculate density using the formula density= mass/volume
