With this lab activity, students will first use the Power Point to start their 'lab write-up'. When the written portion of their lab is complete, they will break into separate groups, and move around the room in stations to test and observe different substances chemically react and change into new substances. Special demonstrations done by the teacher are suggested and links for directions for these demonstrations are within the PowerPoint.
The Power Point and write-up encourages students to better understand the scientific method and prepare for future grade levels in which writing up a lab is expected.
