Product Description
This is a classic experiment with a few twists - instructions are included for two different pure substances and procedures have been updated to enhance safety. This experiment also lends itself to using "scientific probeware" - an excellent opportunity to infuse technology. The lab is not written to use probes, but I'm willing to help with anyone who wants to update it for their use.

Students discover potential and kinetic energy relationships as they apply to phase changes and warming within a phase. Expect students to require 2 class periods to complete the experiment, add at least 1.5 periods for pre and post lab discussions.
