Product Description
Students will be investigating acceleration of a car down a ramp. The investigative question is: Will the acceleration of the car change while it moves down the ramp? Students are asked to provide a hypothesis based on what they learned regarding the differences and relationship between velocity and acceleration.

Lab equipment required: For this lab I used Cambridge Physics Outlet Equipment (CPO). This includes: physics stand, ramp, car, 2 photogates, and CPO data collector.

Note: Acceleration down the ramp should be consistent ie. insignificant difference in calculation. The difference students calculate is due to friction and student input variables. Velocities should be significantly different down the ramp.
