TEKS 6.6AC (Can be used in any grade that is testing physical properties related to metals, nonmetals & metalloids.)
This lab is set up for 7 stations. There are separate directions for each station. I like to have one element at each station which means that you would need a magnet, hand lens, and conductivity tester for each. If you do not have a conductivity tester, you can make your own with wire, a battery and a little light bulb.
The student lab sheet is made to go in the science journal (folded) with the data tabe on the inside. I have another sheet for a follow-up or analysis of the lab. I usually have students answer these questions and the CER in their science journal.l
